Emerging from Quarantine 2020

I feel like a new driver out on the road. I’m so excited to be out driving, the freedom, the wind in my hair. I see many other people who have been out longer than I have, but I’m cautious because this is new for me. I see other people driving fast and I want to join them. They look like they are having fun, but then I remember my friend who flipped his jeep driving too fast. “It’s ok, I’ll go fast in spin class, not here”, I think to myself. I believe that each person should decide for themselves how much they are willing to risk. The only problem with this perspective is when one person’s risk impacts other people. Like my friend who went too fast in his jeep, he lived, but killed someone in another car. Be cautious, be safe.
